In this project, I made a holiday poster for Halloween. I used contour continuation and object placement to make an image that satisifed me. All six images are graphic images that are all below 100% opacity. Also, there is no shadowing or shading on any of the images. 

I created this magazine so that people who were interested in softball would want to buy and read it. There are six main stories on the cover, along with an original barcode, and a picture of me pitching for a travel softball team.

This was the first magazine project that I had, in which I had to pick a magazine and place my face on the body of the person on the cover. I picked a Vogue magazine that had Heidi Klum on the cover, and I removed her face from it. Then, I took a picture of me, cropped my face from my body, and copy and pasted my head to the magazine. Since the magazine was black and white, I only had to try to match the black and white of the rest of her body with my face, instead of trying to match our skin tone. Also, I used the smudge tool to smudge her name out on the front cover.

In this project, I created a menu for an Italian restaurant, which I named Villa Christina. I used a drop shadow on the name of the restaurant and on the pizza image. I downloaded a unique font type named Cigno, which I used throughout the whole menu. I used lighter colors because I felt that it would make the menu look more professional and appetizing. I put Italian food that I enjoy, as well as common, rich italian food on my menu. 

I created this witch by creating shapes with the polygon lasso tool and elliptical tool such as the nose and mouth. All of the parts are simple shapes that have been altered in small ways, and I put shadows on the nose, cheeks, and chin. I used the smudge tool to blend the colors under the eyes, and around the corners of the mouth.  I made the hair by using the polygon lasso tool to create random shapes and lines, that would look similar to hair.

For this project, I used the elliptical tool to create circles and overlap them. I arranged the layers so that it looked similar to the lines on a pumpkin. Then, I flattened the shape, added a stem, and put a shadow on the parts where there would've been. I created two more comparable pumpkins, and used the distortion tool to tilt them. Finally, I put a yellow tint in the background, and placed the pumpkins on an elliptical circle to make it look like their shadow.

I designed the cat by using shapes that I made from the polygon and elliptical lasso tool. I arranged the shapes so that it would resemble a black cat, and colored them based on the colors of the model cat we had to base it on. 

The Gumball project was made from one elliptical circle that was copied over and over again. I used hue saturation to color the gumballs various colors. I arranged the gumballs on top of each other, so that it would look like the gumballs were piled up high. I created a shadow on the gumballs that would've had them due to the surrounding ones, and put a white glint on the upper left part of every gumball to represent the glow and shine they would've had.

For the brain project, I copied and pasted a picture of my head onto the page, and cut off the top of my head using the magic wand tool and the rotation tool. I reasearched images of things that I enjoy such as Dunkin Donuts and my cellphone. I copied and pasted the online pictures, and erased all of the white in the background using the magic wand tool. I arranged the sixty images into the shape of an arc, and used the gradient tool to add color to the background.

This was my second shape project. I created the shapes I was told to, and colored them based on the directions I was given. (triangles, circles, squares, and rectangles) I used the scale tool to make the images larger or smaller, and arranged them into a design that I liked. Then, I counted the number of different colors in my project that I saw, and wrote it at the bottom of the page.

This was my first shape project. I built the shapes that I was directed to, and aligned them into an image that I felt was unique. I used the elliptical marquee tool and the rectangular marquee tool to create the shapes, and added color to the background using the gradient tool.

This was a project that I made for the Open House that Barnstable High School was holding. In this sign, I used Bold type, which I made into an arch to fit around the circle, and a circle in which I put the words Open House and the date. I put a drop shadow and bevel and emboss on the words Open House, and an outer glow on the date. 

This was the first test I had in Graphic Design, and the assignment was to make certain shapes in particular colors and special features. I made a triangle, circle, square, and rectangle all in various colors. I used bold type and wrote three words that could be used to describe me, and placed them in some of the shapes. Also, I added noise to the square, and used a cloud filter on the circle which I colored red. 

This project was the first one I had in Graphic Design, and it was very simple. I took a photo of myself using Photobooth, and copied and pasted it onto a document on Photoshop. I made 10 two-inch squares which I colored various colors, and I arranged them into a 5 by 2 rectangle. Then, I copied the photo ten times and distorted them each in a different way. Finally, I placed the photos in the center of each colored box.
